Πρόκειται για την τρίτη μεγάλη τρομοκρατική επίθεση εναντίον της Γαλλίας μέσα σε 18 μήνες και σημειώνεται οκτώ μήνες μετά τα αιματηρά χτυπήματα στο Μπατακλάν, το Stade de France, το μπαρ Le Carillon και το εστιατόριο Petit Campodge, στο Παρίσι, που στοίχησαν τη ζωή σε 130 ανθρώπους -κι ενώ η πληγή είναι ακόμη νωπή.
